MICRO SD ON TOCCO LITE S5230

Tried three MICRO SD cards and the 'phone won't recognise any of them :(

They are KINGSTON brand and ALL have worked in previous SAMSUNG phones.......

I tried FAT 32 in XP, NTFS in XP. formatting in a G600 -- cos formatting [or trying to] in the Tocco obviously ends in an ERROR message because it's not recognising the card/s............:confused:

As I only bought it yesterday [Monday] should I return the 'phone for an exchange as faulty or is there a secret way of getting the card to work??!!

I don't really want to have to buy any more MICRO SD cards if humanly possible !!!!

I just want to see the MEMORY CARD INSERTED icon on my desktop [SOB]

Any help will be appreciated.

well i have a 4gb lexar micro sd in mine no probs worked right out of the box, so as a test i took the kingston 1gb micro sd card out of my old motorola and stuck it in and that worked no problem looks like you have a duff phone m8 sorry

Sounds like a faulty microSD holder to me, take the handset back for exchange!

I returned the 'Phone this morning and the exhange one "picked up" my MICRO SD card straight away :rock:

Now I can carry around all my cherished pictures on the TOCCO -- pictures of myself at the Beach -- wearing my swimsuit with the hole in it .................... in the knee...... etc etc etc
