View Full Version : UUSP (UPA-USB Serial Programmer)

Hi folks, ive bought a UUSP (UPA-USB Serial Programmer) from elrasoft.com, im tryin to read M35080 from opel astra h dash cluster, the programmer came with no information, could anyone give me a bit of help regarding how i connect to the chip to read/write it?

what software is best to use?

any advise would be much appreciated

Hi friend, just look the connection wire, you have 2 type of connection, I2C and SPI...

sorry not understanding, i have no cables with the programmer, do i need a cable that goes from the serial side of the programmer to the chip?

and connect usb side to computer?

You must work himself cable to UPA :)
When finished this cable connect to rs232 UPA and chip.

and not works......

but original Upa became without software too - must be dowloaded from web

i bought mine direct from elrasoft.com, i am still not having any sucess in figuring out how i use the programmer to read & write M35080 chip.

can anyone give me any advise on what cables i need to connect the programmer to the chip, and the programmer to laptop? help be much appreciated. thanks

If you can read, you can use Help in UPA software - everything is written there

just think and use your brain : all info you have into installed software : check HELP .... CONTENTS .. see into uuprog.pdf EEPROMS ... 35080.

Why do people buy clone upa`s?
i bought one from elrasoft and another from china. bought from China because of the Brazilian Customs House, which blocked the entry of this product in my country, it must have occurred with other friends. Who bought the china, can not update software, it rewrites eeprom 24C128 ...but clones work 100% for me

Here is help file.
Conect UPA programmer to PC via USB, DB9 conector of UPA is for eeprom,mcu conection.DO NOT CONECT DB9 CONECTOR OF UPA TO PC.
Finde female DB9 conector and solder 9 wires on it.
M35080 conection you will finde in help file.
And buy from Elrasoft becouse price is almost same as one from China.
