The easiest way is to find someone with STAR developer.

Using Star Developer you can adjust it in the cluster.
Cluster takes priority over ECU.

Using Star Developer you can adjust it in the cluster.
Cluster takes priority over ECU.
To increase speed limiter via DAS developer you have to change values in engine ECU. Not in instrument cluster.
Hope this helps.

Hi, I to have been trying to remove the limiter on the 906 model, as an experiment i carried out a reading, then lowered the speed limit which you can do with Das without the need for scn coding, then carried out a seccond reading and then compared the two images, there was no difference, thus the limit can not be controlled by this memory.
If you find out any more or how to do it with dev i would be interested to know.
Thanks

Hi Guys, My friend has a 2007 sprinter W906, the van was limited to 75 mph, Someone conncted DAS to the Van to try to remove or increase the limiter.. Since connecting to the instrument cluster and going to adaptaions the Van is now limited to 56mph.. (without making any changes)
There is no option in das to change it, there is a field which says 90kph, but DAS does not allow to change it, and a message regarding EU regulations appears..
I have flashed the ECU with original stock file - no change still 56mph..
We need to either go back to 75 mph or remove limiter
any advise would be great
PS I have ECUsafe, which processed the file, however im not too sure if ECUsafe file will be good - as i mentioned earlier the stock ECU file did not cure the problem (ie VAN still at 56mph and not back to 75mph)

update: After connecting Das again and going into Engine ECU adaptation again, the speed is now restricted to 26mph!!! It seems DAS will only lower the speed limit.. I really need to increase the limit back to 75mph.. Is it possible to increase with DAS??
Any suggestions welcome guys

To adjust speed limit with developer you need to find HGB in CR.
Once in here its a drop down box to set your value.
Dont go higher than 161 kph as this is the max for sprinter
Have a go !!
