Audi A6 Cluster problem

Hi all !!!
After correction of mileage my cluster showing 999999.
When I read by VAG com kkl cluster showing normal mileage what I write, but on display still 999999.
Any ideas what can I do now?

Audi A6 1.9 tdi 2002
Cluster is Jeager MM4 2002

Is it possible check my dump?
I read through obd2 with k+can commander.

your dump have checksum and K+Can clone doesent calculate it.

Load this dump on your TU and write it to dash. The chcksum was good calculate for this time.
IMPORTANT !
Dont power the dash only after 10min after programming.

The dash come from the english car what is mean is counting in miles, and if i am going to put this dump in my dash do i need change coding for km or miles?

Yes. I have made it 100k miles. When you make coding from miles to km you will get 154k km.

I did by Univ... Tacho and wait 10 min.
But display still showing 999999 :(
What can to be wrong?
When I checked by tacho mileage, cluster has got good value (100k miles)
And also when I checked by vag (ross-tech) my cluster get fault 1177.

you need upa . I dont trust tacho universal.

if you use tacho universal with Audi 2000 cable and the 2 test needles it is the same like upa. both use bdm.
I guess your dump is broken now and most of the other tools cannot calculate the right checksum.
write a different dump to dash, adapt it to ecu and set km with diga. will work 100%

Explain, I do not understand you question about VW ID also I downloaded a checksum calculator here but was unable to figure it out.

I will post my findings in 3 hours re you file.

The error code that I am getting is 01179

you can't simply copy body contents from one cluster to other, even they have same HW , because SW can be different
( see at labels from mcus , something like v.7.8.2 )
from this reason , when you copy from one to other your car start but key light keeps flashing....

you have 3 possibilities for a good work :
1. change bad LCD , isn't so hard ...
2. adapt new used cluster to your car ( see at VCDS procedures)
3. change both mcu ( 912 and 908 from old bad cluster to new used cluster )

it's your choice which one you want to use

hello i cant right your file because i can not read anymore (912dg128) dont no what hapen try whith dsp,upa and nothing and when i conect to 12v the display was gone....if i can read the file again i report ....thanks
