Free Freesat receivers for LG LF7700 TV owners

I've had my 47LF7700 a year,saw your post and rang LG today.The chap I spoke to said they were still hopeful they could sort the problem but as an interim goodwill gesture they would send me a Humax HD Freesat receiver completely free of charge.A top post and great customer service form LG.I am well pleased.

When I phoned up for my free box, the operative said "it seems there won't be an update for the iplayer on this model TV". I was offered a refund on this TV if I had the box, didn't really want another box just for iPlayer :(
