You can connect with a 3 pins adaptor.
But you must check if your ECU's are acovearged by the FES.

Are you sure?
If you have a car with 3 pins connector you just need an 3 pins adaptor. Of course you have a connector for at least one ECU
KL1 adaptor is an adaptor for ABS but for cars with 16 pins connector.
Well you said that you have not it but tell me what car do you have because from what I know cars pre 1998 aren't coveraged by FES so let me know what car you have to check it.

This kind of adaptors are for the cars with OBD II ( 16 pins connector ) not for the pre 1999 cars with 3 pins socket.
For that kind of cars you don't need any kind of adptors like K1. You just need the Fiat 3 pins adator and the 12V you'll take from the battery. But take care there are more than 1 connector. There are 1 for engine, one for ABS and one for Airbag and not all are in the engine bay.
And for 2.10.4 you need to have a licensed FES or cracked to work.

Btw Fiat Punto GT Airbag 3 pins socket it is not in the engine bay, it is into driver side in the middel between driver and passanger if I remember well.
In the engine bay are the engine socket.

M8 seems you are "anti" all.Say low price for garage: this is for garage M8 not for "do it your self" even many people thinking have ability to do the diagnose.With this sw garage make money but ordinary people save money if can handle with care so are many reason for pay this money.

You can easily transfer license so it can run on a different laptop, or run cracked version on others, then if you get one that needs newer software you can use that laptop.

You have mounted one temp ntc in the right rear-vieuw mirror.
from there it goes to the Body ecu and via the Can-line can every Ecu (Automate airco, instrumentcluster) read the value.
Therefore needs the BodyEcu programmed to look at the Tempsensor!!.

You cant select the outside temp in the standart dashpanel .

Yes you can do a switch for ELM327 like for VagCom KKL but you don't need to make a switch for pin 3 (Airbag)
1 -ABS ( Bosch 5.3 not supported )
3 - Airbag ( no need because ELM327 not support AirgBags on K-Line )
7 Ecu/Automatic Gearbox
9 EPS for Fiat
12 EPS for Croma
You also can do a switch for CAN line like this
Pin 6 to Pin 1 and
Pin 14 to pin 9
Used in Fiat Grande Pune, Evo and Alfa Mito. Now to reset service interval.
Or you can do a switch just for CAN and for k -line you can soldering the pins 1,7,9 and 12 together but then you can use this tool just for Fiat Group.

yes it's possible to (re)program remotes but only with the original transponders.
To make new transponders you have to read the eeprom part of the 9(s)12 microprocessor in the body computer and use Zed Bull to precode a blank ID48 transponder.

You can try uniscan / visa 1.83. Here (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f152/cheap-diagnostic-tool-159123/#post759026) i have attached the pdf-list of supported cars, look at page 19, there are some pandas 900. Price is around 45 eur or it can be build by yourself (look for thread from manocao).

There is another tool called "leonardo", but i don't know if it will work.

Yust received Bluetooth dongle, and tried FES mobile, works very well !!
Current version supports cars and modules from free version of FES, but I have noticed that that when you connect to Engine, real-time reading of sensors is very slow, and you can not choose separate sensors.
I suppose this will be possible in next, full version....

I have bought BT dongle from Dealextreme sku.42825, and it works OK, it is ELM 1.4 and on Laptop supports even 115 kbps

Sollution: You can select individual parameters by pressing on the parameter and holding for a second (without moving). The parameter turns ON and its background changes to yellow.
Alternatively you can select/unselect ALL parameters at once by using the buttons (with checked/uncecked image) on bottom of screen.
You can also move all selected parameters on top of the list (and screen) by using the button (with upper arrow image) on bottom of the screen.

My friend FES licences isn't just for one version. Iy's for all version.
But if you reinstall your OS then of course the computer ID is changed.
So in this case talk with Yani aboiut this and he will do something for you.

All ok but all versions from 2.7 till now have problems with latency when using VAG KKL
For instance with versions 2.6 and 2.7 I can connect and it is a littel bit stable if I using Vag KKL into the ALfa 155 Bosch Motronic 2.10.4 or 2.10.3
But with newer versions I can connect to the ECU and immediatly it's disconecting.
No way to do a diagnostic on this kind of ECU's.
What about my wife Alfa 147 Bosch Motronic 7.3.1, a littel bit better I mean when I select parameter if I'm doing rapidlly it said Latency to high and disconecting.
I think FES has big big bugs in new futhures.

I agree, have the same problem with VAG-KKL. Newest version 3.0.1 has an improved KKL setting and latency speed testing, you should try it. For the 147 use ELM327, when possible, much better.

By the way, I have Fiat Examiner and it has the same stability problem when connecting to M2.10.4, so it must be the ECU that can't keep communication.

the key is from christmas and it works not.

Ok I see that the stability of 2.10.3 and 2.10.4 but what I wanna say is that I tried everything about VAG kkl connection and it is the same.
What I wanna say is that on the same car with the same interface but using FES diffrent versions, from 2.7 to 3.01 coonection using VAG kkl it is a problem.
Not the same think I can say if I use AlfaOBD.
No stability problem but for Alfa 155 it dosen't coverage this ECU's.
So maybe Yani will figure it out in the futhure what is the casue of this issue.

u cannot look at 1 car that isnt listed or 2 or 3 ,
when you spend 50 euro for software.
Who developing software with people money are big companys like tecnotest ,brainbee texta etc etc-.
But when u see that in old bmw 320d 150hp from 2001 year u cannot recode injector with these 3 tool(10k euro's around)in car 10 year old then this is not developing.
I can list other 100 o more car not working with this expensive tool,
but is better to say that without spend 1 euro u can test fiat ecu scanner and really see whats u can do and whats no,and pay for whats you see.

It is the original installer but the crack you'll never find.
I can't tell you why but I supose that will not be a crack anymore.
You have to solutions:
1 Buy the softwear because it is very cheap for what you can do with it ( 50 euros )
2 Try to one who can give you a "licence"

I don't thing that there will be cracked soon :)
First versions of FES (before vs 3) where relative easy to crack it only had string obfuscation so that you could see pretty easy the code behind it.

1. AlfaOBD and FES 3.x have additional flow control obfuscation and it's pretty hard to understand the code behind it.
2. The new vs of FES also checks for strong names so if it detects that it was altered it won't start.
3. Considering that probably there aren't more than 100-200 people interested in the cracked version it's doubtful that it's worth the effort for anybody to crack it.

In my opinion at this point it would make much more sens a keygen for both version, for FES there is already one (not public).

I think the best is that not talking about crack or keygens for FES or AlfaOBD.
Because the owners of this softwear will concetraiting much more in develope of this softwears just because from what I've seen in much more of cases testing the FES and AlfaOBD don't give it the true parameters.
Comparation with Diagun, Bosch KTS or Texa
Maybe the owners works too much to secure against the cracks or unauthorizated keys and not to develope or to fix bugs of the softwears.
This is my opinion but the other guys can have their opinios too, others then mine. So this is it.

I didn't ask for a key generator (mainly because i have one :P for fes for some time now and for alfaobd did it last night :)), I just said that it would be easier to do a key generator than to crack it.
And yes you can make the money with 2-3 diagnostics but i'm not in this business it's just for personal use and probably i will buy them in the end just to support the developing of them.

Why do you think?
Just becasue they saw that it is easy to be cracked and they stopped developing it.
If the cracks or keygen for AlfaObd or FES will be shared here or anywhere in that time will be sure that the new release will not be or maybe the sw will be developed slowlly becasue the owners will keep attension in securty of the sw not in develope it.

i already sent you a PM too - if the two gauges were working properly before the Proxy alignment i suppose this is the original instrument cluster for your car?
Your car should have both sensors for oil pressure and oil temperature.
In that case retry the proxy alignment - if nothing works you might read the eeprom of the instrument cluster ( 912DG60)
and post the contents here (000-7FF)
I can adapt the file to activate both gauges again (if you have the sensors present).

you probably can reprogram the new km value with UPA and a km tool (for calculation) directly on the proper connections of the odometer pcb.
I did it with a Fiat Stilo without any problem.

it might display 6 chars but it doesn't mean the number isn't >6 i.e.

1000001km

all depends on how the number is stored, if the number is stored as unsigned 32bits you'd be looking at a max number of 4294967295 before you'd reach the ceiling number

FES uses most of the functions of the original Examiner tester, this tool can't decrease the km value either.
Only way is direct writing in eeprom or special tool which uses manufacturer specific commands for programming new (lower) value.

These are just adapters, to connect pin 7 from the ELM or VAG-COM to whatever pin you need in the OBD car plug.

You need VAG-COM or another KKL cable for some ECUs, ELM won't work.

You don't really need these adapters. Just jumper some of the pins together or put a switch to them. I've done this and have used for a long time now without any issues.

It's a nice one, sure, with dip switch, but kind of expensive. You could buy a simple vag-com for $5 and do the mod yourself. Just solder a thin wire from pin 7 to pin 1, 3 and others as needed. I can help you if you need.

Yes you can solder all the dedicated Fiat grups k-lines togheter.
1,3,7,8,9,11,12,13
But it is indicated that pins 3 ( Airbag ) to be separated.
And yes that tool it is very expencive

I have original serial sent it by Yanislav himself( for free )
But from what I know the lats cracked version was 2.6 and no more cracked version for FES.
You know why? Because 50 Euro it is not to much and if this very cheapest and very good softwear will be still cracked in the futhure, you know, for the developer, the owner of FES, will not be any motivation to do this for free in the futhure.
In this case who can make medicine for it, he will not share it anywhere.

This is not good for his Yani's works.
His sw it is not so expencive, I can say it is cheap and now maybe he works for a new encryption not for developing the softwear and this will slowing down his work.

The license it is just for one computer.
You need to buy 3 licenses for three computers.
But my advise is to buy just one license for the computer that you need for diagnostic.

Yes morfej has right and it happens again when you tried "to do" something in it with WINHEX.
As Mr. morfej said you need to uninstall it, then erase everything about FES in registry.
Then install it again and it will work.
