Do I need to change my emulator to bring back the channels? The current emulator on my dbox2 is Neutrino.

Neutrino is the type of image in your dbox2.

The emulator is either evocamd, mgcamd, newcamd or gbox.

No, changing emu won't bring back the channels. You need to ftp a file to the box and your dbox needs to be connected to your PC via ethernet cable for that.
