I have seen that video, to get into developer mode or use developer mode do I need to get different PTT installer I have ver. 1.10 and 1.11 but I only use chuck norris crack on both and updates work. Only thing is i can't change parameters like injector calibration codes because i want to connect to central system. but i seem it can be done with this developer mode.

can anyone please help or guide my in the right direction to get this install or crack if thats what it is.

I thought we should get this forum started with some software finally so that all can use and tweek.

Instrutions:
-install ptt_1.11 client id use and 6 #'s 123456 will do.
-goto Download details: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=C243A5AE-4BD1-4E3D-94B8-5A0F62BF7796&displaylang=en)
-install sql server software for you operating system this is for the unlocker to work.
-unzip ptt unlocker files into folder and run the ptt_1.11.bat file and the open ptt.
-now you can log in but u must log in offline as user m333422 or M333422

unlock will work on 1.11 and 1.10 unsure about vtt that old anyways just use 1.11 and you can make all updates with no problems.

NOW can anyone share this developer software I have read about?

So I loaded VTT 1.12 and MS SQL.
The crack I have has instructions of going in and changing alot settings (copy and paste) in MS SQL (chuck noris user) did all that and I get an "error loading user profile", un installed 1.12 thinking thats the problem, And installed 1.11 and same thing.
I see instructions few post back says to run the "ptt_1.11.bat" file. I don't have that.
Anyone got any ideas?

Yes 9998555 work good with all vcads include 2.40 (PTT 1.12)
you are right not at 100% 888 adapter will work but with any restrictions .

Here is a zip file I was able to get from volvo IT department.

It is the best way to uninstall/clean/fix vcads, ptt, any version.

I was having problems install ptt 1.12 and kept getting error with sql server at the begining of install and by using the clean up tool it worked the second time around for install.

Let me know if it solves ur problems folks.

This is what I did:
1 - Download the ptt 1.12 image
2 - Load the image on a virtual cd drive or burn it if you prefer that.
3 - Run setup.exe at the cd root. Use a 6 digit number as client id (Example: 654321)
4 - Let it finish (obviously) and restart
5 - Check if the sql server icon is present at the tray. If not, install sql server 2005 managenemt studio (thanks to gtchorik for this step)
5 - Run the chuck norris patch (run the .bat, if it is compressed with rar or zip you need to uncompress all the files)
6 - Run ptt with m333422 and offline mode, other way it won't work
7 - Success !

Machine config: Win7Ult, no need to use xp compat. It didn't have vcads installed before, so I guess you have to run the cleanup utility to ensure a clean install. Now I'll try it on a winxp virtual machine to see if it works the same way.

I've updated the instructions for ptt 1.12. The patch works from any folder you run it. (obviosly if the patch is compressed in rar or zip you need to uncompress it):pcguru:

So I have tried downloading and extracting this file several times using winzip and winrar with no success. Does anyone have any suggestions. I have tried installing PTT 1.10 but I get a message saying that VCADS cannot be upgraded to PTT.

When you say install Microsoft SQL server. The program itself already install SQL server when you install PTT. I have not been able to get PTT to work yet. So I have to install SQL server again after PTT is installed?

uninstall sql server and all volvo/ptt files and delete the reigstry entries and then try and reinstall is should work if you are using windows xp it does not allow remote connections and the install may fail sometimes it install and then when you turn off the computer and reboot it you will get sql error 26 if u need more help just ask and i will help with anything i can have a good one

people these are very simple instructions follow them and software will work.

sidenote: if you can not get it to work more than likely you will not be able to run the program I know that I have had a lot of communication issues with my dearborn group adapter.

So therefore if you can't install and run prog. with patch you will more than likely not be able to run software adequately.

i had intstalled vcads 2.35 cracked with sultan crack. but i have only renault trucks (15 dci and 16 dxi engines). vcads 2.35 could not connect to renault through 88890020 interface as it was not in settings, only VCI and 9995888.
When i tried to connect to renault as to volvo, the interface was working fine, was comuninicating, but at the end it says "this is renault, not Volvo" :)
so can you explain me if PTT 1.12 has interface 88890020 under the renault trucks?

also i have cable to connect to dci engines, but i do not know its name. there is 4 pin connector in one side, and other side is with com connecter (RS232 i guess). it is suitable for reading fuel consuption. How do you think it will work with PTT?

and the last problem, that i unintalled vcads 2.35, and i cleared the system with clening tuf founded on this server, but during instalation PTT stops on the mssql server intstalation. i am running xp sp3. any ideas?

I think that might have been my problem. the laptop is always connected to the internet and I have updated the program threw the updater. What am I supposed to be looking out for? I thought I may have made a mistake with the instructions because I could not find the .bat file and the instructions I found said about doing the edits manually. Hi guys.
I have installed PTT1.11 and I'm trying to use it with interface 9998555. My laptop doesn't have serial port so I bought an adapter usb-to-serial. I tried to use it on a truck but it can't be connected!
I've been told that the problem is caused by the adapter and it must be programmed manually from the device manager. Also I installed prolific driver for the adapter.
Does anyone else had problem with this kind of cabling?

i am not sure, but rs232 to usb may not work because of the incompatible frequency. my reanult cable with 4 pins, was not working through the adapter.

Use usb-com converter for 9998555 is impossible because vcads/ptt for work with this device use special protocol of direct access to rs-232 it meen it not use windows, and all kind of convertors include usb-232, pcmpci-232, doc stations would never work because it use windows drivers.
So you can work on ordinary table pc with 232 over pci bus, or by laptop that has official approvment of Tech tool, for example new dell e5510 or panasonic CF, also it work good on dell latitude D series...

Anybody know of a working solution for ptt1.12 I tried useing the Chuck Noris fix but the instruction said I had to enter every line seperat. I thought I might have done it wrong so I used the ITclean up tool and tried again and still no luck. I am using windows vista 32bit any help would be great. Thanks

If you get an error unzipping the IT cleanup utility I had to use firefox to download it. For some weird reason IE would download it and it give me an error when I tryed to unzip it but firefox worked fine. Hope this helps.

hi, I installed PTT last night and it worked perfectly fine! was soooo happy. But today, ptt works fine, but when i click menu and click on vcads pro it gives me a ERROR.

Hello I have PTT 1.12 installed with regional settings set to LT, and soft is working.

On second PC, PTT 1.12 worked several days, and told me Bad HTTP request 400. Regional are EN-US.

The reason is because "Tech Tool Host Service" is shut-off. But when I try to start it, windows says service has started and closed. How to start that service I dont know. PTT Cleaning tool and reinstall did not helped.

hi, I installed PTT last night and it worked perfectly fine! was soooo happy. But today, ptt works fine, but when i click menu and click on vcads pro it gives me a ERROR.

I have PTT 1.11 installing on WinXP pro.
It hangs at "Application Event Log" over 6 hours and its still stuck there.
I rebooted computer, and run the ptt sql file, am able to login offline as M333422. But errors occured "http 400 error". SQL server is up and running, I have installed Mangement Express am able to access the db Baldo.

I added my 88890020 adapter, but Tech Tool does not show it up.The 88890020 adapter is working with my VCADS 2.35 on another machine.

Try mounting the iso file with virtual cd or magic iso etc. then install it as a dvd. letme know what happens

ServiceMaxx needs Java 6update10 to work, PTT installs java 6update14 then kills ServiceMaxx. Both programs can be on the same laptop with a little bit of work. Use JavaRA to remove java then install the ServiceMaxx again.

I had this question few months ago but it is very risky operation and not worth trying it.

Only with software modifications it is not possible you also have to change sensors and other thinks it is very expensive.

When you start the PC to start a service (two black boxes) and not close the check or the service starting ........ Windows itself is closed. If we do not service d plays appears to status 400: Bad request. It happened to me and did not help either restart. Remove the battery while I'm on the laptop and then again turn on the PC. Then it has stifled cool. Try it maybe it will help.

I have just installed PTT and it worked flawless for about 7 days. Today I tried to start it and it is giving me the following error "Request failes with HTTP status 400: Bad request". If anyone has any idea on how to solve this please reply, I dont know where to begin the only thing I did is disable my Antivirus and that did not help.

TACO esas dos ventanas negra aparecen al iniciar el pC tiene que dejar que desaparezcan y luego iniciar PTT tool...esas cajas negras aparecen cuando as actualizado PTT tool, sin embargo sino lo actualizas no aparecen . Can someone advise what I am donig wrong, I had PTT 1.11installed on my lap top and working but I had to clean the laptop and now when I reload PTT it opens but fail to communicate.

All other software on the the system are working ok, ET EST VMAC 3 Insite SIS ect
