I found also one, read original dump and save it first! Then write the dump to the CAS.

Thats not enough to change CAS dump. You need virgin dump to realign with DME . I think SSS Progman can solve this problem.

enigma said: cas is in prog mode ... latest sofware version of enigma unblock this issue ( cass already in prog mode )
If not , read all mcu contents ( eep+flash) and send it here

Yesterday I had exactly the same car, year 2003 automatic.
I attach the dump. Cas is made 0 km already for you.

you do not need EEPROM from other car, becouse in CAS we have all keys, CAS/DME sinchronization, all interior and equipment....! So EEPROM is unique!
Sorry frend

The original dump is corrupted the car is dead. It is better than nothing. You can learn the CAS with special tools.

If your enigma is up to date, there is a fix for this.
suggest you reinstate your original dataset,

did you try to disconnect battery for a minute?

Maybe its worthwhile buying the enigma update or borrowing an enigma with this programme on.

I have fixed 2 cas units that went dead, using this programme.
In any case, I prefer working on the original dataset than one from another car.

When you originally did it,Did you try it direct, obd2, dashplug or plugging direct into cas?

Enigma was up to date, connected to cas2, but no mileage was display.
The thing what going wrong is that we write it to 0 without the original value on the enigma display.
After that car was dead....
Also whe disconnect battery
Than whe read with 9s12 programmer, but dump was F.... up !!!
Changing dump with a other one, makes that some thing of the car works, but without starting it, because key was not excepted.
A new blanco cas2 is ordered already because a official bmw dealer could not repair it.
Lucky thing was that the guy worked by Bmw.....:hmmmm2:

At the moment the car is starting with the new cas, but the Bmw diagnose tool from the dealer reads 2 vin numbers in the car(1 original and 1 from the dump I get)
Someone knows if it can be possible that the vin number in the cas also is in the cluster located ?
And I think that the dump in the cluster is corrupted at the moment.
Will show you the original and the modify dump later...

I assume you programmed the new cas with the correct vin no?

Of the 2 vin nos its reading,is one the correct vin no?

Have you got a dump from the cluster?
post it along with the correct vin no.& it can be corrected

There is a new cas in it programmed with the right vin by bmw.
But the diagnostic tool from bmw read 2vins.... 1 of them is right and 1 is from a other car (cas dump from this topic).

These are the original cluster eeprom (b01) files and the modify(bc1).
Have read and save them with a smelecom tool, have program them onboard with a enigma tool, after I program them I read im out again with the smelecom.

Forget 1 important thing.....
After we build back the cluster for the first time, the cas was not correct programmed to 0, than the cluster goes back to the original.
Then We build out the cluster and I read the eeprom (b012) again.
After that we programmed it again I did not save it.
On b012 was the mileage changed..
And I think bo12 is corrupted........

you cannot use another dump from other vehicles , because it has the vin , odo , and key info inside the dump .

so its easy to see two vin numbers , and they know what happen before .
