View Full Version : VIDEOS KEEP STOPPING

hi does any1 know what might be the problem everytime i try to play a video wether its on youtube or any other video what happens the video will start playing then after about 10 seconds it pauses and you get that round thing just keep loading in the miidle of the video till it starts again then it will stop again through the video and so on it keeps doing this on every video i thought it might be the flash player i have downloaded but i use the adobe flash player 10 active X , i have even changed my cable spitter aswell and that hasnt cured the problem.

its caused by buffering,the stream over the internet is slower than the video player is playing so it pauses until the stream catches up.
try it without the splitter.
what speed is your broad band connection?

i need the splitter as i use it for my cable tv aswell as the internet it says 256 on my modem is that the speed of the the broadband ?

if you get your broadband from v/m it should be 10,20,50 mb, try the speed test link this will give you some idea of your download speed,then post back.

10mb, is the speed of download

do a speedcheck here (http://www.speedtest.net/) m8 and post the results.

if the 10mb is the package you are on then the actual speed should be between 9.5 and 10 mb, if that is the case then the broadband is ok and it is your pc that is causing the problem.
is this the pc you posted as having reformatted recently if so was it ok before.
