hello, during reading with programmer and clip something went wrong with dump. now, fuel gauge and clock does not work proper. can s.o. give me good dump or help to repair old? unfortunately i have no other cluster to read good dump.

Car: VW Polo 6N 1,0l MY1997
Dashboard: VDO 6N0919860
Defective dump in attachment

thank you. still not working, with your dump i only get ------ in display. fuel gauge and clock do not work, too.
any ideas?

or original km?
this is not motometer dash?

Be carefull you must to read eeeprom in mode 93C46 X16!!!
for read and write the mileage!!!

you have a wrong reading of your cluster. you read eeprom x8 and you must read x16 !!!!!!!
compare your dump with that one from leaserhu and will see

no its not a motometer it is a vdo. where can i find version and soft nr.? what does it look like?

do you mean 8bit and 16bit?
I did reading and writing in 8bit mode...

i managed to get it working!
i used 93c46 16bit in programmer soft and swapped the kilometer bits in your file.
now everything is working fine, thank you so much!

finally you understood what mean x8 and x16. It?s very dangerous when you work onto other more expensive unit and "destroy" original contents...
