MB Star C3 with external HDD

hi i need help please. i want to buy the Mercedes Benz Star C3 from www.obdfactory.com (http://www.obdfactory.com) . is anyone using this machine and is there anything i need to know before i buy. they sell for $375usd.

i want to start with mercedes keys and want to buy this product. i have ak400 but struggling to make it work, but i am looking at products from Equipment (http://www.noimmo.lt/equipment/params/62/) . is there anyone using there products and can you advise me if it can work as they say.

please help as i have bought many products that is no good. would like to buy a few tools so i can do most of the merc keys.

Yes, but with ext. HDD is very, very slow.
Star with int. HDD for IBM T30,T42, T60 is much much better.

i have t42 but all seller say they have hard drive for only t30 ibm,i was wondering if the same hard drive fit in both models if some on e can clear it plz?
