Laguna 2002 Sat Nav doesnt work after battery disconnect

As the title says.

Renault Laguna 2002 sat nav screen worked before battery got disconnected, now doesnt work after battery reconnected. Radio still works fine, but no sat nav display. Checked fuse box fuses, none blown.

Ive read others that suffered the same situatioin, but no remedy reported. Any silly reset proceedure? Any fuse hidden perhaps?

Renault say do not disconnect battery for at least 3mins after turning ign off as damage to sat nav units may occur! If you were to quick you may have damaged the unit. This applies to all Renaults, first thing I would be checking is power and ground to control unt. Hope this is of some help.

try rebooting the CD reader, unplug it, then reconnect it mate

Thank you all. As an update, Its only the satnav display that doesnt work. The radio and DVD reader all light up and seem to work. The car had a seperate DIN satnav unit just above the radio, this however does not light up and cant get any of the buttons to work. I'm thinking if i get the satnav unti to start working, it think the display will start working... ?????
