Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help?

I have been looking tru various threads but cant seem to find a definitive answer to my query.

I dont have any TV subscription with Vermin. I just plugged the last box in and the connection seemed to be active.

Do I need a basic TV subscription for this box and an n3 card or can i just buy the box and plug it in as I did previously?

Thanks

Do you need to put a card in these boxes though?

and away you go........

barrowmanandrew what do you mean by 'flash it' sorry im new to the forum.

Also, can you connect to the router wirelessly?

I used to have a SV3 until it stopped workin and still hav all of the VM cabling in can you kindly explain what i would need in order to get going?

I am getting a KV a780 and what else will i need?

Thanks in advance!

by flashing i mean installing the new software.
yes you can connect to router wirelessly. alot of members are using homeplugs which they say work well.
if you read through the threads you will find links to all.

you will need
for flashing:
null modem cable and if your using a new pc, then maybe a usb to seriel adaptor
krptview loader and a780 software.

connections:
a means to connect box to router (ethernet cable or some sort of wireless bridge)
a live cable feed
thats basically it.

flash the box, scan for channels
put yer feet up and watch the tele.....
