IBM t42 GT1 Dual boot help

Hi all,

I have an IBM t42 that I'd like to install DIS and SSS in dual boot. I have never made a dual boot system and woulld like to give it a try. What order should I install and what do the t30 systems use as a boot manager? I will definetly be sharing the image when completed. Any suggestions on where to start reading? It's tough to find any info on a Win/unix combo. I wish it were as easy as Ubantu.

Interesting! I have a clone dis sss and to boot up the sss i am supposed to start machine, when command line appears i type bootos 3 and it begins to load but as yet i have never persuaded it to load to a fully operational state!! But the gti dis and sss are on the same hard drive.

exactly, I want to build the same for a t42, yours is probably on a t30.
