hello everybody!
I want to update the navigation DVD of the car, Audi A6, MMI 2G High. But I have been told that if you insert a virgin DVD with the new version recorded, the DVD unit detects it as non-original, and it blocks (and nobody can unblock it!).
This happens because when you buy an original one, it is booked in relation with the body-number of the car.
Does anyone here know if this it true? Has anyone experienced this "blocking" when updating the navigation DVD? Or can you update it with a non-original DVD? Furthermore, it is said that an original DVD is not valid for another car, it is only valid for the car it was bought.
Any help appreciated!
