can anyone help

i need to reset modus sunroof it is out of sync

does anyone know the procedure

If Modus sunroof is any thing like a laguna. It's
somthing like ignition ON then select the sunroof switch to OFF position then press the switch IN hold it there untill sunroof goes thru it's motion, once it's finished it should be re-learned. I can look for more detailed instruction in laguna manual but think that's about it.

last one I did (new motor) it was something like gregk posted but I found the detailed adaptation instructions in CLiP diagnostic info.
It was something like:
rotate to tilt position and press knob and hold until roof moves to that position and parks, count to three then release knob.
then rotate knob to fully open position press and hold until it until it fully opens and parks, count to three and release

it might even say how to re-adapt in the owners manual
