I don't understand what you want to achieve here by Off it ( do you mean not entering the code at all?). Sure every time you change the battery or it goes flat it will need the radio code. It doesn't take that long just two minutes, unless the set is going defect!

I've often come across situations where the display segments are faulty or corrupt,
where entering the code is very difficult.

In those situations it's very handy to just to remove the code request alltogether.

So then it's just plug and play....................:thrasher:
