NEW SBB V32

So I has having trouble with my SBB V28. The problem was that I always needed to hook a battery booster to the car to raise the voltage to above 12V. Other wise it would not connect to the ECU. But even with the booster on sometimes I would have to try it 10-15 times before it would connect. So I heard that the V32 was out. I contacted alex1986 (obdiiscanner_alex@hotmail.com) at OBD II Scanner-OBD II Automotive Diagnostic Tools & Scanners (http://www.obdiiscanner.com/). They just received a shipment of the new V32. I asked him to send me pictures of the machine to prove it was a V32. I first thought that possible the manufaturer was editing the software to display a fake version but that was not the case.
Below is a list of the updates that where added in July of 2010. I cross referenced them to the SBB that I have and in fact the cars listed below are on the new V32. The most important additions to me are the Fords. So unless the cars listed below are already included in the V31, the V32 is the newest version.
I have tried the machine out on a few CAN Chryslers and it works flawlessly. I even tried to lower the voltage of the car to below 10.5V by leaving the lights on, radio on, heater fan and it still worked.
I was told by Alex that this and other SBB cannot be updated other wise you will brick it.

I also ordered a T300 with adapters that are supposed to work the Chrysler Type 1 and 2 cars. I have not tried it yet but will post my results later.

Alex answered all my emails quickly and honestly. He was very knowledgeable, shipping was reasonable and the SBB was a very good deal.

From what I have been told and read, most SBB clones cannot be upgraded. They are missing electronic components to allow for a software upgrade. Some people claim that they have done the upgrade but a lot more have said they tried and bricked there SBB.

No exactly I have v28, 29, 31 and 32 and all of them have same serial number, I think that the manufacturer has the original then updates it and then releases a new version, smart guy....

Mine arrived today - should have been version 31 came as version 28 01/2009 Secondhand - but never used off ebay.co.uk

Could you explain, please:

1) The 'token' thing?
2) the 'flag' thing
3)would be correct in thinking it's a v28 and that's it?

So they lied to you not 31 version, about tokens and flags don't worry all is cracked but if I were you I would complain...
Well depending on the price because some people says that older versions are more stable but if you paid more for beeing a v31 you should complain.

No Idea for passwords and I really don't know how flags and tokens work, I have 0 tokens and it works, about BCM reading I go to Pin code Service and then select Nissan BCM then follow instructions, is your working or not??

About price I think is a little high because there are sellers in china that sell it for $170 USD v32...

I think you can use them in case it is not activated or you can activate it with a password, it would be great if someone has some info about it...

I actually just ordered my sbb from obdfactory, 156 usd, they said v32, but that will be confirmed when I get it. Got some other stuff off them & so far so good. As far as cracking it electro, I'm hoping mine wont need to be done for a little while yet, but would be intereested to know how you go, I know there are a lot of guys with bricked sbb's out there, if there is anything I can do I'd be happy to help

Upgradeable or not, it is the responsibility of the seller as it is them who have made a mistake and therefore it is to them to fix it one way or another ...

I think one of the new features in V32 is programming a key for a Honda without needing to input a PIN ...
I had an older version of SBB and it asked for a PIN on Hondas.

Hi,

The Infiniti G35 use the Nissan system to program new keys (id: 46). The pin code is probably 5523. If this pin code don't work you can get the correct pin code in Nissan. In Nissan system is possible to convert the serial number of the immo ECU in the pin code. You need only to find the calc software. If you find it, post.

I asked my SBB supplier and she told me there's no difference, only the engineers have changed the number from 32 to 33 ...
