daf lf brake wear sensor

Can anyone help me I have 51 reg DAF LF130 A friend has just replaced my brake pads and wear sensors on front and rear but when I start the lorry up I have an alarm and indication of check brake pads for wear is there something that should have been done so that this indication does not come up. try reacing in window and turn ignition to run without starting and leave it like that or a few minutes
