Ml320 sometimes goes into limp mode and misfires when i start and put under load up hill, getting ideas, i have just changed the plugs.

Start by having the fault codes read and then post them.

Fault code showing, different banks and diferent cylinders, it not the same cylinder or same bank, otherwise i would think the coil pack. cant remeber the code number.

Change fuel filter.

try to clean the throttle valve, and clear adaptation.

Change fuel filter.

Yep mate change the fuel filter, replace the battery , i think this gives to you problems which you will never know from where they comes, then check if the problem persists

Hi there, yesterday had full service and more, drain all greabox and replace with new filter & oil, new battery, full service, drain all brake fuild and replace with DOT4, 2 new engine mounts, new sterring pump, new fuel filter.new abs speed senor.

it strange it now feels slower than before, revs ok, feels like im towing something.

did the problem occur b4 changing the plugs or after ?

if it was doing it b4 then the usual cause is the air mass sensor but the adaptation data will need resetting after replacement as previous posts have mentioned

the wiring to the coil packs can rub through on the rocker cover bolts

if the misfire occured after replacing the plugs then more likely to be plug leads swap them to different cylinders and see if the misfire moves
