opcom reprogram pic help

hi all can anybody help here ,got an opcom {clone} that got the pic erased with that dreaded software version ..anyone please give details of exactly how to reprogram the pic .i have a programer but never done the in circuit bit only the basic stuff like flashing leds ,got another opcom unit that dont work too well ie dont read all the ecu,s can i easily take the software out this and reprog into my other unit
