Helo.
I have got MSA15 (one plug) ecu from 1.9TDI AFN with faulty immo chip. The car I use for work and it have to fix it ASAP.

Problem is that local electronics part shop right now don't have 24C02 chips, only closest are 24c04.

Can I use 24C04 with existing immo file?

Yes, you can use 24c04 to replace 24c02. just program it whith the same dump from 24c02.

Yes, you can use an 04 in place of an 02. Anything upto a 24xx16 can be used.

You don't even need to double up the data as some people do when using larger EPROMS. The data is obvioulsy accessed using a serial protocol which reads specific bytes or byte sequences.
