Smargo on DM500HD

Will a usb to mini usb adapter work on a smargo for use with a DM500HD ?

I cant see why it wouldnt but just want confirmation.

Naa it will not work as it will not be able to recive power. but you can mod your DM500hd to enable you to have a usb port

and looking to get another dm 500hd were did you get yours from
