Mileage is in line 0040. Read the 93c46 eprom.

If only Mod powers were purchasable, so much fun could be had editing
titles.

Do you know why the milage is incorrect on this one?

Just seems odd, having to correct the milage for 'no apparent reason' :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

The guy told me the mileage jumped from 31k to 85k wants me to sort it out, dodgy set of jump leads i think

Oh yeah, LDV that's the one with the Transit engine in, the back bearing
that collaposes and mullers the armture.

Bonus side is if it's left it will be open circuit, therefore can't IN-correct the milage :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

Car type: LDV Maxus - 93c46
The mileage is stored in the next lines:
0040: BD EF FB DE B1 8C BD EF
xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
where the next bytes:
BD EF FB DE B1 8C BD EF - This is the mileage for 31000. Or post the dump.

I think you will find that the LDV Maxus is a Micro job NOT an eeprom ? The old LDV van was a 93c46 but Maxus is 68HC705 micro with a mask of 0G43V

Yes LDV maxus is 100% micro not EPROM but you can use upa to read not easy to edit post dump if you get it to read !!!!!!!!

No mate, it's a ploy, you 'draw' the customers in, take the dashboard out and say "sorry, mate, it's not what we thought it was ?500 pay up and ~~~~ off
of pay us ?500, ~~~~ off and take what is left of your car with you"

Incidently M-H-M have only acutally done TWO IN-corrections, a taxi Skoda 250000 down to 150000 - via obd vagtacho thing

2nd was astra with opcom - GENUINE faulty spedohead - changed and IN-corrected it

That is awesome, well done.

*WHOA* hang on, Justy22, come on spill the beans what colour was the van you IN-corrected? and year please?

Just had one in for some damage on the door (sodding boss always parks too close to the wall), this thing was ~~~~ed, but showed 37K?

Had the speedo out (just enough space for a dead fish), looks like a 'programming port' on the back, 4 pins?

I have one of these today. I have wired it according to UPA micro diagram and all my connections are showing green but it won't read. I have lifted IRQ and reset but still nothing. Can anyone please tell me how to read this with UPA? Thank you.
