got this radio that need a code?

Entered it but it says WAIT...how long should it take? Been waiting for like 5 min..

if it says wait a wrong code has been entered and you need to leave power on to radio for about 15 mins (could be longer depending on how many wrong attempts)
I thought I had given you the right code (sorry if it wasn't) the only other code I can see would be 31214 but it might be better waiting for someone more experienced to reply

Smoggy's has supplied correct original code for serial number provided. 11264.

I'd re-check your serial number, and if it's still the same as you've quoted, then your radio has been previously re-programmed to a different code, (provided you've not made a mistake when entering code?)

Well, I've entered the 5 digit code and then long pressed m buton

The corect code entry method:

Switch radio ON - Display shows "SOUND 10" and then shows " CODE " with " C " flashing
Press tuning UP " ^ " button to Enter
Display will now show " 0 * * * * "
Rotate LH (Left Hand) tuning knob to select 1st digit
Press tuning UP " ^ " button to Enter
Rotate LH (Left Hand) tuning knob to select 2nd Digit
Press tuning UP " ^ " button to Enter
Rotate LH (Left Hand) tuning knob to select 3rd Digit
Press tuning UP " ^ " button to Enter
Rotate LH (Left Hand) tuning knob to select 4th Digit
Press tuning UP " ^ " button to Enter
Rotate LH (Left Hand) tuning knob to select 5th Digit
Press tuning UP " ^ " button to Enter
If the correct code number is shown on display, press and hold tuning UP " ^ " button to Enter
