1.9 cdti 150bhp. 56 reg, engine code z19dth, car turns over but struggles to run,its like its misfiring very badly,rattling, plugged in opcom comes up with code p0016-08 crankshaft / camshaft correlation. does anyone no what this corresponds to, any help would be superb. thanks

is it a chain or a belt. Maybe cam timing out or cam or crank sensor sending wrong signal to ecu

thanks for the quick reply, the car was driving fine ,all of a sudden out of the blue it started to misfire and rattle, it now struggles to start and sounds very loud m8. could it be belt m8. thanks

Just check crankshaft pulley. There is a problem with that. Bolt is becoming loose and it's snapping off crankshaft pulley key. So timing should be out.

timing mate the signal on the cams doesnt match the signal from the crank maybe faulty sensor unlikey tho or it wud jus say it as a single code for a quess
