Could someone check and confirm if they are getting the following reading please cable 908 wire 1= 5v wire 2= 15.8v wire 3= 5v switched. and Red= 15.8v. its just that wire 2 is a bit worrying ore is this normal current for this micro. many thanks and regards

Can anyone help with this cable Please ???

about what wire you asking? if about VCDS you should put +12v on 16pin of VCDS cable.. and on 7805 third leg you should get +5v
next 7 and 15 pin you should get same +12v between GND
and 6 and 14 pin you should get 2.5v between GND.

search on the forum or the net "diga cables"

I think your missing the point, ive already got this schematic but it doesnt show what voltage should run through the cables, so next time try understanding the question first!!

Anyone else that may have some useful tips please feel free to post. Thanks in advance

Ok, I have managed to correct all 3 of the 908 cables i have according to the cable schematic sheet, corrected some resistors to 4.7k in all 3 cables as they came with wrong value of 10k, also corrected the common black wire issue.

When i plug 908 cable to Tacho unit, I get the following readings on a multimeter.

Red cable = 15.5V
Cable 1 = 5v
cable 2 = 15.5v
cable 3 = 0 - 5v when option selected on Tacho for 908

My concern is CABLE 2 which is showing 15.5v and has to be connected to pin 2 of micro, " Is this value correct ? I dont want to fry the 908 micro "

So please feel free share. I suppose all 908 programmers with wire to no 2 pin on 908 micro would have the same current running through them, so if someone could check with a multimeter and confirm reading please, Many Thanks in advance.

PS 908 wiring schematic doesnt show voltage.

Hi. Little late aswer! :D But i get same readings.

Did you get 908 caple working?

Yes mate it works but only on some of the 908's i suppose it simply cant do locked 908's but my cables are good.

sorry to leave this feedback a bit late but better late than never as this may help and clarify to some of the members.

Thanks
