Hi all,
I (ok, a friend of mine :) ) has a similar problem... So can it be resolved with ecutool and repaired chksum? Or do you have to change position of sensors like i've seen in another thread?

I have a stupid question. is it possible only with ecusafe to remove dpf? Problem that i have: the car is drive only in city and the dpf is go on every 300 km . The car is Espace2007.. Can i make with same steps like you write in top?

What i need for this...?
I have done some jobs with km corrections in some cars, but never play with dpf..
Can someone help.
Thanks

Hi

As you can see in the above posts it is posible to completly remove dpf with ecusafe. I did it on couple of cars, but none of them renault. That's why i was asking if it is necesary to change position of sensors... Turns out that you only have to remove fap (part of exhaust) and reprogram the ecu with ecusafe as with all other brands...
Tools - basicly same as with chip tuning - you have to reprogram the ecu. Word of advice - chksum, some tools can do it some can't so you have to do it (winols, ecm...)

Hope it helps,

thanks for fast answer.
Can you tell me a toll with that i can connect to the ecu without open it and read the eprom.. I mean like obd or another diagnostic cable.

Tools are very specific - very popular now is mpps and kess, then there is galleto and kwp (be careful with clones - when there is error between write you are scr____!). For some you can't even read trough odb (sid 801, 803?), so the only way is bdm 100 or optican. There are a lot of tools, but you will have to choose which one do you need (I doubt that there is somebody that has them all). Anyway look around a litle bit there is a lot of reading material on DK.
