Convert NEC Ir Key Dump to Motorola 657.880.041

Hi,

I am trying to make a key for a CLK W208. The car has 2 keys and they both stopped working. I have generated a dump for a NEC key, but the owner of the car has big old Motorola keys and I want to use them, if possible. On the Motorola key is written: 657.880.041

Could someone please help me to convert the dump from the NEC key to the Motorola format? If necessary I will upload the EZS dumps as well.

As i checked the problem in EIS dump so just program these EZS dumps back to EZS and use your Key4 dump it should work.

I have calculate new chrome keys for W210. I want to convert the key2 to program an old motorola key. I've try swapping data as described on #2 post but the key is not working. When i program the files on new chrome keys they are working, but I want to use the motorola keys also.

Any advice?

The motorola key is not working again Vanos...

I noticed that when I write NEC file to motorola key, the EZS(on the first time) turns on and the red LED on key is blinking all the time. When I remove the key and reinsert it's not wotking anymore.

I think you must see.which one key number already used.
When you write back to key them files. EZS will blocked all number of keys.

its a bit confusing..

but those are just the last 3 numbers of partnumber.
So i guess that the ROM in motorola is different. Its not possible to program that in other key, because its read only.

The only way is to read the eeprom of the not working ones and try to see difference. maybe if you program it with these made dumps you corrupt it.

myself i dont see the use of it. Most people want to convert from big key to small key and especially chrome. This way the swap trick always works.

With that soft, is it possible to create keys without modify EZS? With password and ssid from EZS only?

if you want to know what file type you have.
you can see the change in location of the SSID and PASS in the file.

Ofcourse papalos, it acts like original key.

The soft indicates structure of eeprom content. Check out 011 key, its totally different. Thats why it doesnt work with just reverse bytes. So its kind of "corrupt" for the 011 ROM. Now its easy to convert.:bandit:

I have afew problems with EZS and I'd like to give me some answers for conclusion:

a. Let's suppose that I've 4 EZS units that working well and they have different part number(the one replaces the other). May I write on their CPUs and keys the SAME good working dump that i found somewhere? WILL THEY WORK?

b. Let's suppose MCU1 on one EZS is damaged. May I replace it with another from other EZS? WILL IT WORK?

c. About the keys: Are all the keys that i create with hasan software plug 'n play? For example I create all 8 keys, and I want for now to write key8. WILL IT WORK?

mb keyprog or online key generation gives 3 dumps. how would i know which dump to write on the key. please tel me
1. for motorolla key where / how can i read what version it is
2. for nec key where / how can i read what version the key is.
