hi, i have a 2003 renault laguna 1.9 dci, when i start it up the glow plug light comes on 3 or 4 seconds after start up and stays on, car runs fine, changed the fuel filter and the light is still on, owners guide says there could be water content in the fuel filter or an electric fault?

please what would be my next things to check?

its telling u theres a fault code in the ecu m8 , u need to read the code .. more that likely needs a glow plug changing , but being a Renault it could be anything

, but being a Renault it could be anything

Then after it has been plugged in, you will still be non the wiser.

50:1 = Obscure unkown fault code
100:1 = six different fault codes, all caused by each other
20:1 = No faults stored
15:1 = 2 faults you can't clear no matter what you do with it
75:1 = 4 glowplugs faulty

pull the wire off each glow worm, feed via 20amp amp meter see what they suck

use a reno software NOT eobd seting

thanks for your help guys, there was 4 error codes, heater plug circuit, clutch contact signal, airflow sensor circuit, and turbo pressure sensor, replaced glow plugs, and turbo pressure sensor, clutch contact seen that on other lagunas with no light, so cleared codes and all good, thanks alot
