HI EVERY BODY;

I HAVE YARIS 2006 WITH LAMP ABS STAY ON , I SCANNE IT WITH CARMANSCAN AND I FIND ONE DTC : 0C200 rear left speed sensor malfunction.

i clean sensor and clear dtc the lamp off , but after car start the probleme come back again with the same fault 0C200.

but whene i see sensor and car in road i see that the rear left sensor work correctly but the front right sensor don't work ( speed stay 0 Km/H).
so the probleme which sensor is dammage and why carmanscann give the rear left speed sensor while the front right sensor is in fault

thx for all

this incorrect reading is normal for after market scanners..........raise car and manually check speeds of wheels individually

good call electro, I agree, aftermanrket scanners often get wich wheel is which wrong. pull ou the scope & test each wheel, or disonnect the sensor & spin the wheel to see which wheel the scanner thinks it is............
when testing speed sensors, an ohms check is a good start, but by far checking the waveform is the way to go, this tests air gaps, reluctor wheel & all the other stuff.............well thats is the word on the street

Hi

The best and easy way is to disconnect the rear left speed sensor and see what fault code you getting now, than disconnect the front faulty sensor and see what fault code you getting than, and make up your maid also check resistance on both sensors and see the deference, it should be approx 1000 to 1250ohms, one with open circuit replace it.

Hope this helps.

Does the fault appeared after doing some repairs on the work shop or it comes by its self, if it came by its self remove the wheel and clean the magnetic field on the bearing, you know a small peace of metal gives to the abs brain wrong information about the speed. If the problem appeared after a service on a workshop regarding specifically the bearing you already know that the magnetic field onto the bearing is ~~~~ed up.
Hope its useful

Hello khalcdi, Can you post this on the international Carmanscan forum?

Carmanscan Forums (http://www.nex-tek.com/carman/user_forum.asp)

Please tell them also which software version you are using and the VIN number of the car.
This information you provided is very important, so these issues can be fixed in the software for a new release.

Best, DETC

back to my probleme ;
i disconnect front right sensor connector , carmanscan give the right DTC ( front right sensor in fault )
i make the same fore rear left sensor connector , and carmanscan give the right DTC ( rear left sensor in fault )
so , i think that i will remove sensor wich don't work (front right) and make it in rear left , and make the same for rear left sensor make it in left right.
and see what carmanscan give such DTC and sensor status, i think like that we can solve this contradiction.
