what is the best way to get epg for a db 800hd and 500s for sly u.k please with nabilo image loaded into them.

for the 500 i dont think you will get much more than now and next, but the 800 is easy to get the 7day epg press blue, blue,black hole epg panel, i then go for satmate skyuk then it will offer you to download, once done press red.

for the 500s switch over to the pli jade image, install sqlite and you can have a full 3 day epg running and stored in the /tmp folder.
I switched over from the gemini image and epg is so much better.

Wilf I have followed your guide but when i get to the black hole epg panne'l it says enable sky ita epg loader ?

mine looks like this when i go into blackhole epg panel, i scroll down to the one i like and press ok it then give me the option to download it

I switched over from the gemini image and epg is so much better.
given it a go today buddy, press the blue button to scan epg in the epg settings and nothing happens, go i just watch tv and it downloads the 3 day epg on its own?
any recommendations for a good skin in pli guys?

As for skins, they're all pretty rubbish in PLI, i use the default one (dark media pli)as it's about the best,imo...

no mate, tryed that in the past but could never get it to work , im trying to get the full 3 day epg running and stored in the /tmp folder. think my problom may now be im trying to use in inbuilt sqlite, do i still need to go get the SQLEPG plugin? im missing somthing here i thinks

I store it on a network mount...

added the plug in , cant retrieve , im going to see if it scans its self for the 3 day epg when im watching it today, if not i will have a final try of the way you done it mate , thanks for the link buddy

hi guys i dont know dm500 but i just find this link for my dm800 clone on pli image it seems to working good just look in this link should help somebody it help me
