I receive "K wire not switching to positive" when try to scan engine (or any other) .

What year is the vehicle your trying to diagnose.

If <2002 try removing the fuse for the sound system.

The year of the car doesnt matter.
I received the error even just power the tool

You must replace LM 319 chip on board VAG 1552.
