VOLVO XC90 MILEAGE 2008

I want to reduce the mileage of this car but no success please could someone give me a help to fix this ? my Tacho version support up to 2005 model ,

old value= 110066

new value= 35066

memory= MC9S12A128 (QFP112)

Whats the algo you used for this?

This will never work. You must change km also in BCU. This car have km in almost all modules. After you change BCU eprom there is a procedure to fit it back in the car in order to get expected result.

I did a 2010 version without doing the BCU so it is possible.
Didn't checked the dump above but algo is very easy.

I got a 07 XC90 job coming and the dash looks like drpeter's. I also have a vida and I could not find mileage in BCU.
BTW Volvo calls it CEM.

Hi guys I done 2008 today just dash worked fine but on v70 CEM on 2008 had to be done I take it this must just on the change of model !!!!!!!!

It is a new dash 2010 same as all old xc90 dashes, there is no newer one as far as I know.

Thanks Tachanow, I see the problem now. Is it possible to see if the mileage is stored in CEM b4 the job, foe eg. with VIDA?

I dont know how powerfull is VIDA but as the km must be changed in CEM eprom sure they are there.

We are talking about a XC90, I did a 2010 version and the dealer could not find the original mileage with their diagnostic tools, the car was from the dealer itself and they checked the whole car after my dash ''modification''.

As I know XC70=XC90 only caroserie is different. Even in the pdf posted above Dashcoder say that they have the same way to be done.

This is right. For this kind of dash it is possible to make km only in dash but 100% they are still stored in CEM.

A few time ago Ive done an S80 2002 only dash and the dealer colud read km from CEM module. Thats it.

Only after 2008 dumps are crypted.

but there is no new xc90 till now, so must corect dash onlly

Guys, I got VIDA. This is the same stuff dealers use. I look for mileage record in dash and other modules but on 07 XC90 I could only find it in the dash. Next time I get a never Volvo I'll look all over to see where else the mileage could be.

i wonder is anybody try to read flash from 3k91d in dashboard Volvo XC90.
Dashboard is dead somebody try to read MCU and i think he erase some data in flash dump, because when i read it with x-prog there is missing info in some line's. I post my flash dump and if somebody know what is wrong pleace post it , or if somebody have a dump for compare will be very helpfull :)

You might need the EEPROM for this dash to work, here is one .
