Fiat 500 question

I got a little problem!
I should build for education in a school for mechanics an enginemodel! I got the motor with transmission, engine controller unit, wiring!
It's from an Fiat 500 1,2i, 5 Gear manual transmission, builded 2008!

I didn't get the MUX Controller and Instrument cluster :-(

so can somone tell me if its possible to get the engine run without this components - to to an immo off just in enginge controller?? (it's a hybrid controller can't be opened- don't remember but i think its a siemens unit)

and what would be needed to do IMMO Off - can somone tell me if a readout of flash is enough (maybe with byteshooter or something similar) or to i have to open and do some soldering??

so now i got a look at this controller.
It's an Marelli IAW 5SF9 controller unit!
inside there is a ST10F296 Processor with no EPROM and also no EEPROM.

so would it be possible to kill immo with an read out in Boot Mode??

So update on post!
I found on CircuitBoard a serial EEPROM from ST Microelectronics. Part Number ist ST K912 - so i think it's a masked EEPROM - should be something like 95160 or 95256

Please can someone help me??

I think you can only "virginize" it, you will need to recode it to key.

Thanks for answering - thats bad news - hoped immokill would work - because we only have the ECU (no BSI, no Keys,...) its njust a motor himself for educational purpose

Hi,

Can you send me the eeprom bin file ? I think is possible to immo off it.... Let me see the eeprom data first!
Is it petrol or diesel? Fiat 1300cc engines are diesel multijet with IAW 6F3 or 6J3 ECUs (95320 inside).
If you have a petrol engine should be 1242cc with IAW 5SF (ST10F280 inside / no external EEPROM).

so it's a Fiat 500 from 2008, 1242 ccm, 8 Valves, 69HP.
Its a Marelli IAW 5SF9 (IAW 5SF8 is printed on Board) with a ST 10F296 processor. should be a NEC EPROM and a masked EEPROM (ST K912 stands on SOIC8 EEPROM)
Sorry but i haven't been able to read the EEPROM out - I think i always took the wrong part (tried with 95128 and 95160 but didn't worki,...)
The ECU looks like a Hybrid ECU but it isn't - I've opened it, and there's a usual board layout into it.

or maybe someone can tell me how to read/write this ECU in Bootmode

Or give me the secure bits of the masked EEPROM SOIC8 ST K912
otherwise I'm not able to give you a readout of the EEPROM

thanks for the picture, but it's not the same - I don't have SF3 unit, I have SF9 (same like SF8) ECU with ST10F296 Processor, and the board layout is not the same like in your picture shown!

NEC is clear - thats the same like yours, but not at processor!
And i think i have CAN Connection not K-Line

Maybe you also get a picture of my ECU so that i can see more,....

chip soic 8 st kxx is a power mosfet, on back side not have any hardware ,at the moment not have work immo emulator can v5, new i have not test
