Use the DDEC III or IV Wiring schematic to make one, you only need to use the right side connectors on the ECM
here is what I use
C-2 Data link posotove
C-1 Data link negative
B-3 Ignition
those are in the "Vehicle interface connector"
and the Power harness conecctor goes
C and A Battery +
B,D and E Battery -
And you need a Diagnostic connector 6 pins
A data link +
B Data link -
E Battery Ground
C Battery +
For Caterpillar I don't know what kind of engine you need.
hope this helps.

what style ecm are you using for caterpillar ? the 40 pin or the 70 pin ecm ? all you have to do is get the 40 or 70 pin i think its called the j1 connector and get a wiring diagram of the ecm got one for the 70 pin ecm and it takes about 1 hour to make it just have to get the pins and sockets and a deutsch crimper if you want i can post the numbers for you or i can load up the wiring diagram for you very simple and you will be all set with bench cables if you need anything please let me know can gladly help you
