rover 75 mileage 999999

hi everyone i am trying to repair this rover 75 i have problem with dash i have alterd mileage back from 999999 to 58,000 which the car had done but it shows 174,000 in the display i think there is corruption in the crc of the file can someone repair this

Had same problem little while ago, Sorted, this car has a 93S56 and you need to remove eeprom from board and program new value and it will work !

i have reprogrammed the 93s56 the dump is above i changed it to 58,000 miles but instead of it showing this it shows 174,000 miles

the dump above shows 174,000 on dash and i need it to show 58000 i have reset LCM to 0 already

What programmer are you using ?

done thanks to everyone but i worked it out i had to

reset service
reset LCM to 0
read 93s56
swap bytes alter mileage (mileage in km on liczick)
swap bytes back
program chip
fit Lcm then dash and all ok

this could also be done by OBD with old diga :-)
