Depends what you want to fix. Some times a bit of super glue or a big hit with a hammer would do the job. But it realy depends on what your fixing?

Dont know who this was aimed at. im still alot confused with this topic. You posted how to fix. Now are you trying to show how to fix the old type mileage meter or something else ( you still havent said ). if this is what your showing could you eplain a little bit more because all i seen was you hitting it with pliers so i wasnt to far away with the first post about the hammer. sorry guys i was kind of mad my net connection was gone i could not convert my vid( so that vid is for when you pulling off needls some gauges like ford connect or some japanis cars its comes out whit pins specially bmw thats the way how to put them back))
