Hi guys!

Is there a way to use the ETL NEC Programmer for reading/writing uPD78 FLASH code???
The uPD78 NEC Dashboard Programmer application has both EEPROM and FLASH buttons, but the FLASH button is disabled (snapshot attached). Is there a way to "unlock" that FLASH button and R/W entire uPD78 memory space (FLASH + EEPROM)?
I need to copy FLASH code from the uPD780828 and write it to uPD78F0828 chip....

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I don't quite understand what you mean by "save and leugo open and try to keep in chip"?

Anyway, I did try to read the EEPROM from the uPD780828 and it returns 0x4F at all addresses except the lowest address (0x0F900) which returns 0x00.
However, something's not quite clear to me... The uPD78F0828/uPD780828 datasheets says that address space 0x0F7E0 to 0x0FA63 is "Not usable", but ETL Programmer application reads address space 0x0F900 to 0x0F9FF. How come, shouldn't it read a regular part of FLASH space???
