i have a dead opcom (clone) interface ,pc went loopy and when sorted interface wouldn't work .
i have since got a new one which is workin and was wondering if the old interface could be used for a different vehicle manufacture ?
it has a pic 18f 458 chip in the old unit if that makes a difference
or can i only try and get it to work using vaux ?
anyhelp much appreciated

i,ve read in the forum about repairs for opcom and was gonna try and repair it ,but had a thought that it may bey able to be used for a different manufacture ,i.e ford or vag ?

Hi! U can use op-com interface on Opel, and Vauxhall, and GM based Saab, nothing else...:cool:

- op-com interface will work ONLY with Opel/ Vauxhall /SAAB.

you can use ELM on vauxcheck, have some nice functions that opcom cant do

I'm really curious about this fantastic ELM used on Opel cars.
