2. meter it out to the pin[s]
3. experiment with 12 v onto remaining pins until cluster powers up

find ground on pcb, if you dont know how, then read a book.

confirm ground on cluster plug pins.

use 12v supply, touch all none ground pins observing current consumption.
you may have to connect more than 1 pin to power up cluster.
