There is severl programs that you can use. If you know what car the dump is from you can also use tachosoft to get the mileage location. Once you know the algo you can then compare it against tachosoft.

What operating system are you using. It doesnt work on vista. If you do a search for nyo4 full there is a big discustion and loads of help.
