Hi, you have to do only BCM (eeprom 24c16) for this car. Not necessary to do dash. Same as in insignia.

Best regards

Location on astra is not same as insignia

remove lower left kickpanel just clips to reveal bcu

remove 7mm bolt and cut tiewraps /lever out clips from the wiring loom

pull bcu from tray housing/open bcu to reveal 24c16 eep.

hello
insinia and astra have the same bcu with 24c16.
and only need to do bsi and then cluster pick upm the value
that i?m sure, if you need calculation i could help you with datasmart 3+.
the only thing i?m not sure is the location of bsu.
i read some where that is on the middle of the car behind the gear box.
is that?
thanks

NO OFFENSE TO ANYBODY

Makes you think, why did aNybody bother to invent the M35080 chip, BMW with there 3 memories, late Reno's with it in the abs - poinless even these can become IN-correct :roflmao::roflmao: .

If all you do to IN-correct the milage is, wrench, crunch 24C16, WTF.

Yes, can see that maybee these will get full of water and pig piss etc etc
then need to be excanged, so yes can see that swapping chip will work.

Just seems pointless all these differant methods of IN-correction, why doesn't ALL makers follow this idea?
