Pro,
InPower Pro provides the following functions for monitored equipment:


Direct connection capability from a personal computer to PowerCommand genset controls, transfer controls, and system controls; For details on devices supported refer Technical Details tab.

You need cable part number 3163156 to connect to the engine, it connects directly to the engine from the PC, no inline adapter!!. If you buy one from other than Cummins, make sure that it is the newest version, after 2003, the old version of the cable, (for the original QST30 with a single ECM mounted at the rear of the V, pre 2003), was missing a resistor required for communication with the GCS controller.
