Hi my friends
I have IMMO dump from a 2001 Toyota Solara engine ECU module 89666-06182. Can somebody please reset this dump to accept new ignition key?
I've tried to use a dump that I found on internet but when I change the dump below 01B0 address the chip 93C56EM8 which hold the ignition key code override that changes. I found that this particular EEPROM has a Data Protect feature. Are there any ways to bypass this protection. Maybe I don't understand something on IMMO field but I really need find a solution because a price for new module is very expensive.

Or I need a virgin dump If somebody has it please upload here or PM to me. Thank you and best regards

The dump you found does not need to be changed by you. Write it into your chip and insert your key into the ignition and turn your car on for 10seconds, insert the second key do similarly, same for third key , they all should be programmed.

Thanks but all the key was lost. Now I'm trying to learn new key to existing ECU

edit your dump to the key you want there are 2 master and 1 valet. if you add key 1 to your dump and clone that value to the key car will start.

That is why, the file you have is called VIRGIN, it auto-learns the keys you just got without using any othr programming tool.

No, you're trying shoehorn the wrong size and type of file into the eeprom and it doesn't like it. Your original is 16 bit and 256 bytes. The dump you found is 8 bit and 512 bytes.

Try this one
37221

It should work but I've not tested it so please report back.

(Where'd you get the pretty graphic from Ray-Ray?... :top:)

Thanks. It's works! Does this method applied work on all old style immobilizer system on Toyota/Lexus or just on this Camry only?

Thanks for explanation. Is there any other way to much new key to an existing ECU if lost all the keys? I ask about old style immo system when if you lost all keys you have to buy a brand new ECM.

Hi ray-ray, sorry to resurect an old thread, but I find myself in the same situation as Air... I have read the bin from the 93C56 chip and also wrote the virgin file to it. My question to you, and you will probably laugh and say what a moron... But how do you convert the data in the blocks in the bin to the data that should be wrote to the key, or vice versa??? I have read the data from a couple of 4c keys with a Zedbull, but I can't figure out how to convert that to binary to put into the bin... Do you use a converter of some sort???
Thanks in advance,
Tim
Here is a pic of the bin I was working with

No conversion... U need to get tiris data of the key, which can be acquired by zedbull software via pc

Read keys with Zedbull, here is data.. What I am trying to figure out is how to put the key data into the bin file.
Key 1, 7E AA 7C 9D 50 00 00 00 00 54 4A 7E 00 00
TIRIS, 7E 55 3E B9 0A 00 00 00 00 2A 52 7E 00 00

Key 2, 7E BD A2 9D 50 00 00 00 00 DD 00 7E 00 00
TIRIS, 7E BD 45 B9 0A 00 00 00 00 BB 00 7E 00 00

Key 3, 7E C8 7B 05 A0 00 00 00 00 B3 A0 7E 00 00
