WITH EPROM CAN I FIND IN THE DASHBORD OF THE CAR BMW 320 YEAR 2006 I SEE IN THE CALCULATOR DASH I THINK EPROM 93C56 BUT IM NOT SURE .I NEED THIS INFORMATION

Yes M35080 prob needs to be replaced though unless you have a v6 eraser


MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A GOOD BACKUP THOUGH IT COULD PREVENT TEARS AFTERWARDS

You do realize that you have to do the CAS also or it will not work? also delete codes ande set service, you need good equipment to do this car not worth buying if you are only doing 1 car, better to pay someone to do it.

This is the info on the Dash chip

Car type: BMW 3xx - M35080 - from 2002 year
The mileage is also stored in EWS and LCM modules!
It is better to replace the M35080 chip with new one,
as erasing can cause problems in 50% cases
The mileage is stored in the next lines:
0000: 03 83 03 83 03 83 03 83 03 83 03 83 03 83 03 83
0010: 03 83 03 83 03 83 03 83 03 83 03 83 03 83 03 83
where the next bytes:
03 83 - is a mileage

Most programmers will read it mate ...
There is no equivalent eeprom You need to replace it with a new one as the increment registers (bit where the miles are ) cannot be decremented .. so its a new one or erase the one you have after its read of course .. but thats another story ...

If your programmer does not support M35080 eeprom then get the one PremierD has recommended.

in the dash there is 174112 km 2A82
and i want change miliage to 60000 km OEA6
i programe this eprom M 95035 and when i put in the dash i see value 999999
the eprom not program
i read with elnec .but elnec reading good this m95035 but not programming

any idea for this eprom or i dont know
pls help me
the km of the dash dont work with value 999999 km all is normal just dash and km

the eprom not program
i read with elnec .but elnec reading good this m95035 but not programming

needs to be removed from cluster DONT try to program in circuit
also what numbers are on the chip (all of them)

chances are you will need a new chip as the one on it will only allow mileage to be increased not decreased so basically here is what to do

1. read and save dump (must be good for backup purposes)
2. write dump to new chip (this is need a dump has vin etc etc stored in it)
3. then write new milage to it

or

get new chip and write the 60000km file i attached to previous post.

sometimes after reading dump original chip can be erased but is maybe only 50% rate

Never heard of Elnec programmer dont now if it supports M35080 so suggest you look at the following link on ebay and this should do it cheap and cheerful .

Your problam is just as teerak2uk has said. Your m35080 eeprom in your car is a m53080v6. unless you buy an eraser for it you need to buy a new m35080v3 eeprom then program. They are only about ?5 so buy a few and keep your old m35080v6 as a backup incase the shit hits the fan and you make a balls up.

you cannot write that dump with 60000km to your chip you need a new blank one

you have not answered is your car e46 or e90?

I did mention this to him,but he says he realizes that, dont know what he means by that, no chance of cas being programmed if it a E90 and he never buys a programmer as he was saying.

Before you ask for any more help can you confirm if the car is a e46 or a e90 the e46 is the older shape the e90 is the newer shape. Look at the photos already provided and confirm. There is no point in going any further with this post until you can say what model you have because with the e46 you will get help with the e90 your screwed and will need new equipment to program it.

OK now "you Listen"
1. Have you saved the data from m35080 before changing KM, if not then forget the rest of the steps and good luck.
2. we know your car is a 320 but, is it old shape(E46) or new shape(E90) if e90 then you must also do cas or will not work if E46 continue with next steps.
3. Buy new M35080 eeprom, Load saved file or data from original m35080, adjust KM to required value, then write to new chip and all will be fine.

Now I hope this makes sense because if it doesnt then the chances of you getting this job are 0 - none especially if you dont even know the car type.

Everyone has given you good advice now get on with it and good luck.

Enough is enough mate ....
Please answer these questions .. in order
(1)does your programmer support M35080 eeproms ...check please..
(2) you said you read and saved the file ... please post...
(3) you have got a M35080 ereaser.... ? or New M35080 eeproms ?
(4) Look out the window and have a look at the Vehicle.. now compare what you see to the two picturs posted ....What one is it ? only two options mate ... If its the E46 (first 0ne) ..then there is a very slim chance that you will get the dash to change .... ... If its the second one E90.. then put the cluster back in .. and set fire to the car ..Coz there is no way that you will get the CAS unit to change .. and if you try it .. you will not get to drive it to the nearest park and set fire to it ....We have all given you all the advice that we possibly can ... so I 'll open the thread for you to answer ..

PS.. YOU CANNOT ALTER THE INCREMENT REGISTERS (KMS)... WITH A LOWER VALUE THAN WHAT IS ALREADY THERE.....

by original dump you have E90 100% with Borg dash!

You must buy NEW m35080, program with original dump and let car go! If you will try do somethink with CAS3, customer will kill you.
And after that you must find new job, becouse sometime someone will kill you for damaged cars!
