View Full Version : How to read a ECU with software with "No Read" function

Hi,
Please help. I have Byteshooter mini slave. I want it to read cars that has software on it with "No Read" function. Can anyone help?

Either go back to older version of software maybe from around 2006, or just lift the chip and use device programmer.

no read- means it cannot read them. You ll have to get an Original file, mod it and jsut write it.

Desolder the chip and read with programmer, open the file in a hex editor and go to near the end, lokk at the asci at the side you will see 'noread' change these values to 0 or ff cant remember you'll see anyway though.

These are ECU,s which are hybrid or sealed. No BDM port. What do you do?

Some ecu s cant be read...you need get ori file from your supplier...
