Becker porsche cdr23

I have a becker be6612 (porsche cdr23) and when i fit it into a different porsche it comes up protect.I have been told by changing a line of information in the eprom will sort this problem.Can someboby help me with a dump or the line and the information to change.Thanks

Just a thought,

Is it not the case that you just change the VIN number within the dump, to match that of the car to be used in.

Never done it, but maybe worth a try...

I second what bonus said, you will need to make the new car understand and accept the new radio set by making the computer read the new radio to its database. Try to get the VIN of the new car accept it and this need to be done in the workshop. Another way is to drain the computer memory by disconnecting the battery over night then try after that to enter the code for the radio and see if it will work.
