I have been following posts on this software, and every time i think 'ok, ill buy it', up pops another post where it has not worked!
But the only other options are either long winded postal options or icc.

hot air remove chip read for earlier ones
aint done any newer ones yet
but guaranteed if ya get chip off and read upa and xprog work ok for tms 370
both cheap too
de solder and get pin sorted
plus nasratec tool is for 1 marque upa and xprog do lots

choice for me is real easy
but i dont see many
but options for other readable chips for pins with upa /xprog
all viable and if cash is short more so

For Astra MK5's & Zafiras the other places you can get it by reading the eeprom with UPA

m35080 within speedo (code is in the ASCII)
TID or BID displays (Code is in the ASCII)
GID or CID (possible to work it out)
CDXX radio (Possible to work it out)

I usually go with what's easiest on the day.

This pic is from a TID display, same principal for the BID or the speedo.

Code is 1653

Thats great, thanks for that info, Now , wheres the best place to buy xprogm, and also, does anyone know where i can buy mvp/t300 clone with ford europe software in it? I am getting quite a collection of almost identical units after being promised that ford euro is on there when its not.
Many thanks for all your help guys.
